I am originally from a small town in northeast Tennessee. After graduating high school I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I obtained a liberal arts degree and then Eastern Michigan University to pursue a post-baccalaureate teaching certification. By 2009 I had completed my student teaching, and moved to Colorado where I taught Social Studies for 8 years, most recently 7th grade history.
In February 2018 my wife was offered a position at her companies’ headquarters in Salt Lake City so we decided to move as it would require her to travel less. In June 2018 my family, which includes my wife, two daughters and one dog, packed up and drove across the Rocky Mountains and are now residents of Park City. I also completed my M.Ed in Educational Leadership during the summer of 2018 with an additional certification in Educational Law.
I am looking forward to working with students and parents at Treasure Mountain.
