School Community Council

Welcome to the home page of the Treasure Mountain Junior High School Community Council. The SCC consists of TMJH teachers/staff, administrators, and parents. The SCC is responsible for establishing and monitoring school goals and administering the Utah State Land Trust program for Treasure Mountain. This group has been tasked with developing a long-range, strategic school improvement plan which encompasses three years and is focused primarily on setting, monitoring, and assessing goals to improve student achievement. For the 2023-2024 school year, Treasure Mountain Jr High is allocated $143,329.63.

CALLING FOR NOMINATIONS FOR TMJH SCHOOL COMMUNITY COUNCIL

The Treasure Mountain Junior High School Community Council (SCC) is soliciting parents and guardians interested in serving on the 2024- 2026 Council. We currently have 2 openings for this upcoming year. Nomination forms are found here. Nominations should be submitted to Principal Caleb Fine via email, fax (435-645-5649) or hand delivery by July 31, 2024. (Self-nominations are encouraged.)

If more parents are interested, an election will be held during August 2024 school registration. ‘Write-In’s’ are accepted until voting begins during school registration days in August 2024, but late nominees might not have their ‘Bio’ printed for the ballot.

The SCC meets 7 or 8 times annually. Meetings are generally held at Treasure Mountain from 2:40 – 3:40 pm. The SCC consists of TMJH teachers, administrators, and parents. How do I get involved?

Want to make an impact on Treasure Mountain students? 

  • You can become a voting member if you have a student attending TMJH. Complete the following form and scan to Mr.  Fine, our principal at cfine@pcschools.us  
  • Attend a meeting. Our meetings are open to the public. 
  • Contact one of our SCC members to voice your thoughts.

Meeting Dates and Times

The SCC meets 7 or 8 times annually. SCC meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month (unless noted) at 2:40 pm in-person in the TMJH Library Conference room and ZOOM links are provided for those who cannot attend. Parents and guests are invited to attend meetings.
