Clubs and Activities

Most clubs and activities carry over year to year, but all are subject to change. For more information, contact the club’s advisor listed below, or see the Main Office.

activ8
actiV8 has begun it’s Fall Schedule and is just for Treasure Mountain students. It happens every Monday right after school. We have a variety of programs including sports, photography and safety certifications. All programs run for 4 weeks. You do have to register for these programs and there is a fee, scholarships are available. To find out more information or to register please go to ysaparkcity.org. Click here for Fall  information.

Mustang After School Academy(MASA)
Treasure Mountain is offering an adult-supervised after school homework help program and various activities and clubs for students to participate in. Here is a list for program information. The program runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45 to 3:45pm. Advisor: Mr. Salinas

Mustang Newspaper
Newspaper club is a group of students who write about school, local events, sports, music and much more. We post our newspaper on our TMJH website so our content is available to students and parents. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy writing and have their work published. Students have the opportunity to interview people, write about sports or concerts and interact with our community. The newspaper club is a good place to relax as well because we will have a stress free environment for the mind to be creative and inspired write . The program runs every Tuesday from 2:45 to 3:45pm in Room 11. Advisor: Ms. Stratton

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
NJHS is a worldwide organization that promotes citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship, and character. Members must maintain a 3.5 grade point average and become good citizens by participating in service projects. For more information, please see the the NJHS page. Advisor: Ms. Langford

Clubs at PCHS that accept TMJH students, 9th grade only
9th grade Freshman are welcomed to join clubs at PCHS. It is recommended that you contact the student representative first before attending your first meeting. Here is a list of clubs at PCHS.

After-School Activity Bus

The district Activity Bus is available to bus-eligible students who participate in school-sponsored after school tutoring, activities, and programs.

The Activity Bus runs as follows:

  • Service begins the Monday after school starts in August
  • Pick-up at TMJH at 3:50 p.m. (then proceeds to PCHS)
  • Service ends the Friday before the last day of school in June

Students must present their Bus pass to the driver. There are no set routes or times for the Activity bus–these are dependent on how many students are riding and where they live.
