TMJH Spirit Wear

Treasure Mountain has long been a stepping stone to and partner of Park City High School, and many students are outfitted in PCHS gear because of their sports teams. We’d like to encourage students to also have pride in their junior high experience at TMJH and providing each student with a TMJH t-shirt (designed through a student contest) would be a step in that direction. I would like to thank all of you who donated to our TMJH Spirit Wear goal! We raised $1,710 toward buying TMJH t-shirts for all students. We really appreciate your support and generosity and PCEF for helping us achieve this goal.

TMJH Mustang Pantry

Previously known as the Pop-up Pantry is up and running once again. It is located in room 37. For more information please go to Mustang Pantry.

SHARPS Survey

The Utah State Office of Education; Department of Health; and Department of Human Services, Division of Substance
Abuse and Mental Health are conducting the seventh Student Health And Risk Prevention (SHARP) Survey. Your child’s
class may be selected to participate in this survey. Students whose classes have been selected will be asked to complete
ONE of the following two questionnaires: the Prevention Needs Assessment (PNA) Survey or the Youth Risk Behavior
Survey (YRBS) during February, March, or April 2019. The two questionnaires are described below:

Prevention Needs Assessment (PNA) Survey. The PNA survey measures alcohol, tobacco, and drug use; the factors that
place students at risk for problem behaviors; and the factors that protect students from problem behaviors. Information
gained from the survey will allow your school district and the State of Utah to continue to provide comprehensive
prevention programs for our schools and children. This survey is only administered to students in grades 6 through 8.

Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). The YRBS survey measures alcohol, tobacco, and drug use; antisocial behaviors;
health behaviors; and school safety. This survey is only administered to students in grades 9 through 12.

We must receive a signed permission form from every student so that we know whether they have permission or not to take the survey. The form was available during school registration and can be downloaded here (en espanol). Please return completed form for 8th grade to your students’ PE Teacher. For 9th grade, please have your student drop off in the Front Office. If you have any questions, please call our Front Office.

SCHOOL FEES

2018-2019 School Fees

The Park City Board of Education affirms the principle that a public education should be free to the patrons of the school district and that barriers to public education should be removed wherever possible. In that effort, the school board has waived the fee requirements for mandatory and academic fees for the 2018-2019 school year. The board’s action is not a categorical waiver of all fees. Fees subject to this action include fees for elective courses and general education expenses. This action does not extend at this time to extracurricular fees and other fees for activities conducted outside the normal hours of the school day. In all cases, remaining school fees are subject to State law and district waiver policy.  Please go to our link for more information regarding school fees and school lunch.
