Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) positions open for 2018-2019
I'm Elaine Murray, the current Treasure Mountain PTSO Co-President. This is my 1st year on any PTO, and I've loved it. I have learned a lot, and have enjoyed the company of my PTSO Board.
I have an 8th grader at Treasure Mountain currently. I will have an 8th grader next year, and the year after that. Since I'll be anchored at Treasure for a while, I've decided to stay on as the PTSO President.
My goal is for the PTSO to be creative and daring enough to introduce new events and activities each year. This year, we started an after-school club teaching students how to start a business.
We need team members for 2018-19 (and beyond) that share this enthusiasm. Look over the open roles listed below. Sign up for one, I'd like to have your company. Sign-Up Genius Link
The time commitment is minimal. This year, we held PTSO meetings once a month. They were all held in the morning, at school, with the principal in attendance. Going forward, the meeting time and location can be varied to accommodate folks that would like to participate. The goal is to be flexible in scheduling around people that have enthusiasm, skills, ideas, or energy.
- To clarify, paying the $30 PTSO fee at registration does not obligate you to any PTSO responsibilities.
Thanks in advance,
