Welcome to the home page of the Treasure Mountain Junior High School Community Council. This group has been tasked with developing a long-range, strategic school improvement plan which encompasses three years and is focused primarily on setting, monitoring, and assessing goals to improve student achievement.

 

2018-2020 TMJH School Community Council call for new Members

• The Treasure Mountain Junior High School Community Council (SCC) is soliciting parents and guardians interested in serving on the 2018-2020 Council. Complete a nomination form and submit it to Principal Emily Sutherland via email esutherland@pcschools.us, fax (435-645-5649) or hand delivery by August 1, 2018. (Please verify acceptance of nominee prior to submission. Self-nominations are encouraged.)

• ‘Write-In’s’ are accepted until voting begins during school registration days in August 2018, but late nominees might not have their ‘Bio’ printed for the ballot.

• From the nominations, a ballot will be drawn, and elections will be held during August 2018 school registration. Three parent representatives will be elected for a two year term. Questions? Contact Emily Sutherland, Principal, 435-645-5640 or email esutherland@pcschools.us

• The SCC meets 7 or 8 times annually. Meetings are generally held at Treasure Mountain from 2:40 – 3:40 pm but times may change based on preference of the committee. The SCC consists of TMJH teachers, administrators, and parents. The SCC is responsible for establishing and monitoring school goals and administering the Utah State Land Trust program for Treasure Mountain.

 

Meeting Dates

SCC meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month (unless noted) at 2:40 pm in the TMJH Library Conference room. Parents and guests are invited to attend meetings.
